Joy Browser does not require you to create an account and does not ask you to provide your name, phone number, email address, contacts, payment information, precise location, health information, SMS data, or call data.

- Download information: file names, file URLs, file sizes, download progress, video titles, video duration, thumbnails, and download status may be stored on your device to manage active and completed downloads.
- Saved media files: videos that you choose to download are stored on your device and shown in the app's Vault.
- Device and app information: basic technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, network status, crash information, and performance data may be processed to keep the app stable and improve functionality.
- Advertising information: if ads are shown in the app, advertising partners such as Google AdMob may collect or receive identifiers, device information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, ad interactions, and diagnostic information to provide, measure, and improve advertising.
How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- To provide web browsing, search, page loading, and navigation features.
- To detect available downloadable video resources on supported pages.
- To create, pause, resume, retry, cancel, and complete download tasks.
- To display saved videos in the Vault and play them with the built-in player.

Joy Browser lets you access third-party websites through an in-app browser. We do not control third-party websites, their content, their cookies, or their privacy practices. Websites you visit may collect information such as IP address, cookies, identifiers, browsing activity, form entries, or other data according to their own policies. Please review the privacy policy of each website you visit.
Advertising and Google AdMob
Joy Browser may display ads provided by Google AdMob or other advertising partners. Advertising partners may use cookies, mobile ad identifiers, IP addresses, web beacons, or similar technologies to serve ads, limit ad frequency, prevent fraud and abuse, measure ad performance, and improve ad services.

You can reset or manage your Android advertising ID and ad personalization preferences in your device settings where available.
App Permissions
Joy Browser may request permissions that are necessary for app features, such as network access for browsing and downloading, and storage or media access for saving and playing downloaded files. Permission names and availability may vary by Android version. You can manage app permissions in your device settings.
Joy Browser may also request notification permission on supported Android versions. This permission is used to show download-related notifications, such as download progress, paused downloads, completed downloads, failed downloads, or other status updates related to app features. Joy Browser does not use notification permission to read your notifications, collect notification content from other apps, or access private messages.
Data Stored on Your Device
Download tasks, saved file records, and downloaded videos are primarily stored on your device. If you delete a file from your device or remove it in the app, it may no longer be available in Joy Browser. Uninstalling the app may remove app-managed records and locally stored app data, depending on your Android system behavior.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Locally stored download records and saved files remain on your device until you delete them, remove them through the app, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
Joy Browser does not currently provide account registration. If you contact us by email, we may keep your message and email address for a reasonable period to respond to your request, resolve issues, and maintain support records. You may request deletion of support emails by contacting us.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed by the app. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. When you visit third-party websites, the security of those websites depends on their own practices.
Children's Privacy
Joy Browser is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
